401(k) Plan Audits

ERISA Section 103(a)(3)(C) audits — formerly known as limited-scope audits — for 401(k) and other employee benefit plans.

This service is for plan sponsors and trustees who need an independent audit of their 401(k) or other employee benefit plan to meet ERISA and Department of Labor requirements. This is a significant niche of ours — we regularly work with plans going through their first audit after crossing the 100-participant threshold, plans affected by a merger or transfer, and plans with messy histories or operational failures that need sorting out.

These audits are formally known as ERISA Section 103(a)(3)(C) audits — the current name for what was previously called a limited-scope audit — performed in accordance with Department of Labor regulations.

Engagements are generally billed as a flat, fixed fee agreed on upfront. We start with a no-commitment conversation directly with the managing partner to understand your plan’s needs before setting up the arrangement.
